Tell us a little about yourself, what kind of person are you and how do others perceive you?
My name is Rasmus, and I’m an outgoing and sociable person with a strong passion for technical challenges. I’m driven by curiosity and a desire to constantly grow, which means I’m eager to tackle new and complex problems that require analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Personally, I’d say I’m seen as a friendly and supportive person who enjoys collaborating and helping to create a positive atmosphere—at least, I hope so… Beyond that, I thrive in dynamic environments where I can share knowledge and experiences with others. In my free time, I cherish spending time with family and friends, and I stay active through exercise to take my mind off problem-solving!
Where do you like to travel?
One of my life goals is to visit every continent. So far, I’ve traveled to North America, Asia, and Europe, and I’m looking forward to exploring the remaining continents. Antarctica can be a challenge logistically and financially, but perhaps trips there will become more accessible in the future!
Do you have a bucket list, and if so, what are the three things at the top of your list?
Visit every continent, go on a safari in Africa, and go skydiving.
Antarctica can be a challenge both logistically and financially
What quality do you think is most important for success in the role of Data Management Consultant?
It’s definitely about being able to collaborate. If one part of the process isn’t working, it can affect the entire workflow. It’s a bit like a machine where all the parts have to work together. That’s why I believe communication between different teams is important—so everyone is on the same page, knows what needs to be done, and understands what steps are necessary to keep the other teams moving forward.
If you were an ice cream, what flavor would you be, and why?
The original Twister—that was my childhood every summer, and the original isn't available in Sweden anymore.
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I’m definitely a night owl. There are few things that beat the feeling of sinking into the couch with something tasty to eat while a movie plays on the screen. It’s even better if it’s dark outside, the rain is pattering against the window, and faint thunder can be heard in the background.
What is the best thing about SQL Systems?
