“I always see the glass as half full”
Do you have a quote that you think suits you, or that you use as your motto?
I have an optimistic outlook on life and work, and I strongly believe in focusing on opportunities and solutions. For me, the glass is always half full, which helps me see the potential in every situation and motivates me to keep moving forward, even when I face challenges.
Tell us a little about yourself, what kind of person are you and how do others perceive you?
I would describe myself as a positive person who is happy to say yes to most things in life. My friends describe me as being present and living very much in the moment; for me, it’s important to be 100% in the moment, whether I’m with my children or in a conversation with a colleague—it’s important to me to show that I value other people’s time. I also love challenges—whether it’s a new work assignment, signing up for a half-marathon, or anything else, I’m all in!
How did you end up at SQL, and what is SQL like as a workplace?
I felt it was time to try something new and started looking around on LinkedIn. There, I saw that SQL was hiring a consulting manager and decided to apply. When I met Emma, Jonas, Magnus, and J3 during the interviews, I immediately felt that this was the place for me. The fact that the company is on an exciting growth journey that I get to be a part of and influence makes it even more fun. “Family-like” is really the word that comes to mind when I think of SQL as a workplace. I’ve been made to feel truly welcome, and after just three weeks, I already feel like a real part of the team!
For me, life is a constant journey toward new challenges; with a smile and a positive attitude, no obstacle is too great.
What are your job responsibilities?
In my role as a consulting manager, my focus is on my team members.
Where do you like to travel?
Great question! I love going to cold places with snow. Being active and skiing all day with the family, then relaxing in front of the fire in my base layers—that’s the life!
What do you prefer to do on a Saturday night?
Saturday cozy time is a tradition in my family; it involves good food and drinks, which we sometimes enjoy with friends. Sweets are a given, and sometimes we watch a not-so-great movie if my partner gets to choose 🙂
If you could only pick one treat from the bag of candy, which one would you choose?
I'm torn on this—I love chocolate and I love salty licorice; actually, I think I'd probably prefer a combination of the two.
