"If it had been your own money, would you have paid for it?"
Roger
Do you have a quote that you think suits you or that you use as your motto?
If it had been your own money, would you have paid for it then?" This is a quote I often remind myself of when making decisions, both at work and in my private life. It's about always striving for quality and responsibility, and acting with integrity. I try to think long-term and always put myself in other people's shoes in order to make well-informed and responsible decisions.
Tell us a little about yourself, what kind of person are you and how do others perceive you?
I am structured and disciplined, driven by a strong inner compass. I strive to be a person who keeps my promises and lives by my values. Others often perceive me as reliable and determined, and I believe it is this consistent work style that makes people feel they can trust me with both small and large projects.
How did you end up at SQL, and what is SQL like as a workplace?
My journey to SQL began with an interest in systems and technology that make a difference in the everyday lives of people and businesses. When I first came into contact with SQL Systems, I was impressed by the company's focus on innovation and continuous improvement, something that really resonated with me. The workplace is inspiring, characterized by a collaborative and open culture where we work together to solve challenges and achieve results. Here, I feel that my skills really have the opportunity to develop and contribute to the team's success.
I am driven by living a life that is conscious, measurable, and meaningful.
What are your job responsibilities?
My responsibilities at SQL Systems include supporting and optimizing business systems with a focus on SAP PM. I work closely with both customers and colleagues to ensure that our solutions are both functional and sustainable. I make sure that all processes are efficiently integrated and that we continuously improve workflows to maximize results and productivity. I am also responsible for continuously measuring and analyzing data to understand where there is room for improvement.

I am driven by living a life that is conscious, measurable, and meaningful. For me, it's about always being present and focused on what I'm doing—both professionally and privately. I want to feel that every day I live is a day where I am actively working toward my goals, while also developing as a person and contributing to the success of others.
What do you prefer to do on a Saturday night?
As a morning person, I tend to take it easy on Saturday evenings. I like to relax and listen to vinyl records—it's a time for me to unwind and reflect on the week that has passed. I often choose records that suit my mood for the day and make sure it's a time for myself without any major demands for activity.
What would you like to have more time to do?
I wish I had more time to read physical books. There's something about the feeling of turning pages, taking in the content without distractions, and immersing myself in topics that interest me. I think it provides a kind of reflection and learning that digital formats can't really replace.
Do you have a bucket list, and if so, what are the three things at the top of your list?
Yes, I have a bucket list. The top two things are:
- To complete a longer training program, such as a challenge that spans several months, to really test my physical limits. Right now, to be able to do more pull-ups and toes to bar than I can today.
- To deepen my knowledge of personal development and psychological theories, in order to better understand both myself and others in my professional and personal relationships.
When do you feel proud to be part of the SQL Systems team?

How do you perceive our core values?
- Collaboration: I believe that success is achieved by working together as a team. Good collaboration is based on mutual respect and sharing our strengths to achieve our goals together. I really appreciate the open and helpful work culture here, where we stand united and solve challenges together.
- Courage: For me, courage is about daring to make decisions even when there is a lot of uncertainty. This is something we often face in our work with complex systems and change management. I always try to act with courage, to dare to try new solutions and think outside the box to move us forward.
- Integrity: For me, integrity means taking responsibility for your actions and decisions, and always acting in a responsible manner, both towards customers, colleagues, and the company. It's about doing the right thing even when no one is watching, and that's a value I try to follow in everything I do—both professionally and privately.
These values create a strong foundation for us as a team, and they reflect the principles I myself try to live by in order to contribute to a positive and sustainable work environment.
